How To Make a Home Made Bird Feeder

Looking for a fun project to do with your kids? How about make a homemade bird feeder to hang off of your backyard trees! Not only will your kids have fun with a hands-on-project with mom and dad, but the birds will love it too! Creating crafts to be used outdoors teaches your children how to care for and recognize landscaping and outdoor enjoyment at an early age. Plus, by following this craft to create a bird feeder, you’ll also be teaching your children about reusing and recycling.

Recycled Bird Feeder Materials

You only need a handful of materials to create this craft, and most of them can be found around the house! Here’s what you’ll need to get started…Cord or Small Rope, Plastic Jar with lid,PVC pipe, Frisbee, 1/4 inch dowel, Glue Paint or markers once you have everything you are ready to get started.  Please let us know about you bird feeder project.
